The implementation of the OKR tool in partnership with Oxford Business Masters brought about a significant and important change in our institution, particularly in the execution of the Strategic Plan. It enabled us to monitor progress in an agile manner. As a result, the workforce felt they were actively participating in its execution, which generated satisfaction among the civil servants.
We consider that, in addition to this, the great gain was maintaining focus on each proposed objective and ensuring that plans are constructed to solve problems and achieve what matters: the result.
It should be emphasised that the mentorship of ‘Professor’ Marcos Barros (as he is affectionately called) was decisive for the success of implementing the OKR culture in the organisation.
